Low Carbon Consultants squareCapitoline has been awarded the status of Low Carbon Consultants by CIBSE, the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers.

Low Carbon Consultant This government recognised accreditation means that Capitoline LLP now has the ability to design, or sign off other designs, to certify that buildings meet the Building Regulations Part L, Conservation of fuel and power for non-domestic buildings.

This leads onto the wider European requirements to certify buildings for the EU Energy Performance of Buildings Directive and the EU Energy Services Directive.

Clients can be sure that buildings designed and operated by Low Carbon Consultants will meet the requirements of Part L (Conservation of Fuel and Power) and Building Control Officers can be assured that compliance is being signed off by suitably qualified professionals. Members of the Register have undertaken exams to prove their competence.

We believe that Capitoline is the first consultancy to apply this new qualification and expertise to the requirements of Information Technology infrastructure and in particular low energy computer room and data centre design.
