Learn how ISO27001 and EN50600 improve data centre management

Find out by listening to Barry Elliott, a Founding Director of Capitoline, at Data Summit 2017 – London.

ISO27001 is the most popular management standard used by data centres. It is an Information Security Management standard that does not particularly target data centres but makes expectations about the security and redundancy of essential utilities. How can a data centre manager demonstrate this? The new European EN50600 data centre standard is ideal in this respect as it can be used to demonstrate a security of power, cooling, physical security and data cabling. ISO and CENELEC EN standards should not be seen as competing standards but complementary. This talk will review ISO2700 and ISO9000 series in respect of data centre management and demonstrate how EN50600 can be used in support of gaining compliance and certification to these standards.
